AIRS is one of the most comprehensive mobile-based platforms that can be used for gathering, storing and processing a large variety of sensors and activity information available through current Android-based devices. AIRS is free and open source, and can be used by developers, researchers and anybody interested in self-monitoring. In order to allow for transparency in our implementation, we made the decision to provide the AIRS platform as free and open source, so that anybody can inspect the code. That also means that it can be extended according to your needs. Here you can find all developer-related information. However, as we cannot guarantee or monitor how AIRS is further extended, please make sure you only download it from Google Play.
AIRS can be used as a research platform in order to realize various experiments and user studies. We would be happy to provide support in extending it for your needs through our consulting services.
What AIRS records
AIRS can currently record up to 65 input types, that can be used to derive various aspects of daily activities, such as your movement, environmental conditions, mood, social activities and interests.
AIRS is a unique platform that can combine automatic recording with your own insights for the best type of recognition there is!
